ABOUT ME

My name is Ricardo Oliveira and I have been around hunting dogs all my life. From an early age, I would follow around my grandfather and uncle when they went out hunting or training with their dogs. I quickly became fascinated with upland dogs and especially appreciated watching them do what they were bred to do. I have always had a love for dogs and a passion for the outdoors, but it wasn’t until I was in my 30’s when I got my first hunting partner, Vida, a German Shorthaired Pointer. A year later, I got a another German Shorthaired Pointer named Laika.

I am now an avid upland bird hunter and a member of NAVHDA (the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association). I am also a member of the upland wildlife conservation organizations, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.

My passion for hunting and training upland dogs grows every day, and I am eager and excited to help other upland dog owners and their hunting partner reach their goals.
